Sidama Moonshot Natural
Sidama · Natural · 74158 Heirloom
“A $1 test lot so juicy it might be illegal.”
Tucked into the highlands of Sidama at nearly 2,100 metres, Abebe Keramo's micro-station processes a tiny lot of 74158 heirloom cherries using a slow natural dry on raised beds. The result is an absurdly fruity, low-stakes coffee that's ideal for trialling new workflows — or just seeing if the checkout button actually works. Every tester deserves something delicious.
Cupping notes
Opens with a wave of wild blueberry and hibiscus, then settles into bittersweet dark chocolate and a long brown-sugar finish. Winey acidity, velvety body.

Processing
Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and dried for 28–35 days on elevated African beds, turned twice daily. Ambient humidity and cool nights contribute to the signature wine-like complexity.
Producer
Abebe Keramo has farmed heirloom varieties on the family plot since 2003. He built the raised-bed drying station in 2019 after a fellowship with the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union.
